Which HR recruitment package is right for my business?
We offer three distinct recruitment packages, as we recognise that not every business has the same need. The complexity of the search and the availability of HR talent will have a bearing on the right package for you. Is it cheaper to use an HR recruitment agency or make this hire myself?
Before deciding if it’s cheaper to use a recruitment agency or hire yourself, consider if you have the time, resources, and expertise to manage the process. Hiring niche HR professionals requires access to strong candidate networks and the ability to assess candidates against clear criteria. If you’re confident in handling this, the DIY approach may be cheaper, depending on your time’s value and recruitment costs. However, agencies offer access to broader talent pools and can save you time. Ultimately, the decision depends on your capacity and the role’s complexity.
Are your recruitment fees different if I want to hire an HR contractor?
Yes, our fees differ for contractors. While permanent recruitment fees are a percentage of the candidate’s annual salary, contractor fees are based on the candidate’s daily rate or a fixed fee per day.
At Peeq, we work with HR candidates on a day-rate basis, agreeing on a total daily budget with the client upfront. For example, if Client.Co has a £450 daily budget, it might break down as:
– Peeq’s fee: £50/day + VAT
– Contractor’s pay: £400/day + VAT
This totals £450/day + VAT. For a three-month contract (20 days/month), the total would be £27,000 + VAT. We bill monthly in arrears based on the days worked.
