About the Role
This is a vital role responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive strategies and programmes that drive high performance through talent development, ready for delivery across Zepz. This role requires a tactical thinker capable of translating business objectives into effective talent programmes that attract, retain, and motivate top talent.
Key Responsibilities
Talent and Development
- Play a key part in the design, delivery, and partnership of global talent and organisation development programmes.
- Design, introduce, and implement relevant internal and external talent principles and approach across all areas of the business, such as Talent Density.
- Promote a “talent” culture, maintaining a rhythm throughout the organisation so that Zepz colleagues can shoot towards their full potential and ambitions.
- Measure our talent across the entire organisation, partnering with the wider People team and domains to develop a fit for purpose definition of potential and internal/external talent.
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify and develop the future capabilities needed for business priorities.
Performance Management & Culture
- Design, implement, and continuously refine a robust and super-efficient performance management framework (e.g., goal setting, continuous feedback, performance reviews, development planning) that fosters a culture of belonging, accountability, growth, and high achievement.
- Lead on the performance cycles (e.g., annual reviews, mid-year check-ins) and be instrumental in developing and designing future iterations.
- Support the ownership of Zepz culture and ensure company performance starts and ends with individual performance.
- Review and continuously improve the approach to performance in line with best practice.
- Raise the bar across the business, supporting talent acquisition and high performance, working to create a talent dense business where underperformance is a thing of the past.
Required Skills & Experience
- Varied, broad, progressive experience in Human Resources including a significant portion in a Talent – you will be establishing best in class talent programmes for Zepz
- Extreme accuracy & attention to detail & be experienced translating data into actionable insight reporting
- Need to be accomplished working through stakeholders
- Need to be able to develop all types of teams credibly through facilitation and other methods
- Proven track record of designing, implementing, and managing effective people programmes in a dynamic environment.
- Previous experience in a tactical Talent role in a fast-paced, complex environment, ideally FinTech.
- Proven project management and change management capabilities. Happy with change and limited information.
- Excellent analytical skills and data numeracy, with the ability to interpret complex data, draw insights, and use reporting (including metrics and KPIs) to influence stakeholders and strategy.
- Great communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build credibility with stakeholders at all levels.
