Role Overview

As GetAgent’s Senior HR Manager, you’ll play an important role in our fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on hands-on HR management and the complete employee life cycle. Your responsibilities will oversee all aspects of HR, from creating and implementing HR policies and processes, to addressing employee relations queries and ensuring legal compliance.

Your role will be pivotal in optimising our HR operations, processes, and fostering employee development to empower them for success. You’ll be responsible for HR- related functions, including onboarding, performance management and retention while also supporting to upskill our teams. Collaboration will be key, as you work closely with the department heads and business founders on critical initiatives and key projects.

This role primarily centres around HR process management and efficient HR operations while collaborating closely with the Head of Talent Acquisition. The role will report into the CEO and is responsible for overseeing all of HR, including the management of the Office Manager.

What you’ll be doing

  • Establish and update HR policies, procedures and best practices to ensure compliance and efficiency
  • Stay up-to-date with employment laws and regulations and ensure compliance
  • Serve a first point of contact for employee relations enquiries and concerns
  • Develop initiatives to promote positive company culture and employee engagement
  • Oversee the entire employee life cycle
  • Identify and improve processes to enhance employee experience at every stage
  • Provide guidance and training to managers on effective performance feedback and support ongoing performance development
  • Oversee relationships with service providers, such as payroll and benefits providers
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees, including salary adjustments, bonuses, and deductions

What we’ll need from you

  • Strong background in handling employee relations issues, mediating conflict and promoting a positive workplace culture
  • Experience in senior HR roles, including collaborating with leadership and C-suite
  • In-depth understanding of UK employment law and regulations
  • Proficiency in implementing performance processes and driving a high performance culture
  • Exceptional organisation, attention to detail and time management skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including coaching and guiding team members
  • Proven ability to identify HR-related challenges and provide effective solutions
  • You prioritise high impact work but never neglect the details
