The Client

A rapidly growing tech organisation with a global footprint is seeking a regional benefits expert to join its People function during a period of parental leave. With operations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific, the business is rethinking its approach to benefits – striking a balance between consistency and local relevance.

This is a dynamic opportunity to shape and deliver region-specific benefits strategies while working closely with regional leaders and global stakeholders.

The Role

This Senior Benefits Specialist will lead the design, implementation, and management of benefits across EMEA, MENA, Mauritius, and APAC, ensuring that programmes are tailored to each market while aligned with broader organisational goals.

Initially offered as a 6-month FTC, with potential to extend to 9 months, this role requires a high degree of autonomy, cultural sensitivity, and operational know-how.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regional Delivery: Own the end-to-end benefits lifecycle across diverse international locations, ensuring local compliance and optimal employee experience.
  • Vendor & System Management: Lead third-party relationships, including negotiations, renewals, invoicing, and benefit platform oversight.
  • Strategy & Benchmarking: Research market norms and identify areas for improvement, driving cost-effective and impactful benefit solutions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with regional People teams, Finance, Payroll, and Procurement to ensure effective implementation and process alignment.
  • Employee Support: Act as a subject matter expert, resolving benefit-related queries and supporting internal communication efforts.
Local Nuance: Adapt global frameworks to reflect country-specific needs, ensuring cultural relevance and engagement.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Demonstrated experience managing benefits across EMEA, MENA, and APAC regions.
  • The ability to navigate varied regulatory environments and cultural landscapes.
  • Strong operational expertise and confidence managing benefit systems and vendor relationships.
  • A strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate ROI and optimise programmes.
  • A self-starting, flexible approach—comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change.
  • Either immediately available or at short notice (max 1 month)

Next Steps

If you’re an experienced regional benefits specialist looking for a rewarding FTC role with real scope to influence, we’d love to hear from you.
