You will also work alongside the Head of People and our Regional People teams to coordinate the roll-out of our aligned operational plans as well as spending some time looking into the future and helping to develop our colleague proposition.

What you’ll be doing:

We’re looking for an dynamic, ambitious people professional to work with our Central Support functions to bring our people proposition to life. In this exciting role, you will work across the whole HR remit working alongside the Head of People Operations to shape the future of Away Resorts.

  • Working with our Central Support Manager to deliver the annual people plan in engaging ways that drive continuous improvement.
  • Advising and leading managers through all Away Resorts processes, making sure that we’re compliant and acting in line with our DE&I Commitments.
  • Identifying talent and building development plans that encourage colleagues to grow and progress through the organisation.
  • Working with manager to bring the Away Resorts vision and values to life ensuring that our Central Support on-boarding and induction process is industry leading.
  • Leading on the recruitment of Central Support roles helping to attract the best talent.
  • Owning the Central Support engagement plan and looking for new ways to engage our colleagues.
  • Working with the Head of People and our SLT to bring our Employee Value Proposition and leadership promises to life every day.
  • Working to deliver the annual people plan alongside the Regional People teams, which includes annual bonus process, pay review and performance management.
  • Working with the Head of People to advise and manage organisational redesigns.

Skills, experience, and qualities you’ll need:

If you can demonstrate the following skills, experience, and qualities, let’s hear from you:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a HR Advisor or Business Partner (ideally with a hospitality background)
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A good understanding of UK employment law.
  • High energy, self-motivated and ambitious with ability to multi-task
  • Ability to think creatively, strategically and analytically.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Passion for people and able to build strong relationships.
  • An inquisitive mind that challenges the norm
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
