About the Job

Purpose of Role: The HR Business Partner will be working closely with the Human Resources Manager and partnering with business stakeholders. They will be responsible for understanding the local business needs and then working with the Human Resources Manager to ensure delivery of people initiatives that enable and support local business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

· Focus Area: Execute activities that are in line with employee relations strategy, including awards, conditions of employment, and employer organisation matters. Support disciplinary and improvement process.

· Focus Area: Maintain knowledge of the local talent market and use these insights to execute people strategies in consultation with WBS (Weir Business Solutions)

· Focus Area: Ensure people programs including Talent Management, Performance Conversations, ID&E, and Reward and Engagement are well understood and supported.

· Focus Area: Ensure the delivery of a high quality HR service to stakeholders (leaders and employees) across all business areas

· Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

· Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above.

· Degree in a relative field

· 5+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner within a manufacturing or technical environment and has successfully supported people strategies and programs.

· Makes decisions with confidence based on analysis of available information, awareness of stakeholder priorities, and in alignment with objectives.

· Comfortable with working in a modern operating model, with aspects of outsourced or centralized business services, business partnering, and centers of expertise.

· Holds or is pursuing a CPHR designation is an asset.

Compensation – $76,000-$90,000
