About the Job

We’re looking for a Head of People & Culture to shape and scale our People function at Pubity Group. This is a brand-new role focused on building strategies, processes, systems and initiatives to support high performance, operational excellence, and a values-led culture. You will be building the foundations to elevate us to a market leading employer that has a culture of excellence.

You will need to be able to balance speed, grit, creativity and compliance to work in our fast-paced environment and keep up with our growth. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who knows what good looks like and is ready to step up and own and build a function with the support of Senior Leadership to partner with.

You will lead and develop our Talent Acquisition Manager, shaping a proactive, commercially aligned hiring strategy that strengthens our employer brand and consistently attracts high-calibre talent into the business.

In addition to owning our core People infrastructure, this role also assumes responsibility for our London office and workplace experience – ensuring our physical environment is well-run, welcoming and fit for purpose as the business scales. You’ll manage and support our People & Office Operations Coordinator, overseeing day-to-day facilities, suppliers, policies, and broader culture-building initiatives.

Reporting into senior leadership, you’ll work closely with department to ensure our employee experience is best-in-class – across onboarding, performance, progression, compliance, culture, and everything in between.

Key Responsibilities

HR Systems & Compliance

  • Own and evolve our HR systems, documentation, and policies in line with UK and US regulations
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle including contracts, onboarding, offboarding, and ongoing compliance
  • Act as a point of contact for employee relations, escalating as needed

Onboarding & Culture

  • Design and deliver engaging onboarding experiences that embed our culture from day one
  • Partner with department leads to ensure seamless team integration for new joiners
  • Lead initiatives that promote inclusivity, wellbeing, and team cohesion

Performance & Progression

  • Design and roll out performance frameworks that set clear expectations and support growth
  • Support managers with feedback processes, reviews, and professional development pathways
  • Create and lead L&D opportunities and trainings

People Strategy & Projects

  • Work with leadership to shape a long-term People strategy aligned to business goals
  • Drive data-informed improvements across attraction, retention, engagement and culture
  • Support special projects such as international expansion, org design, and benefit reviews.

Office & Facilities

  • Oversee workplace policies, supplier relationships, equipment, and day-to-day operations in our London HQ
  • Manage and develop our coordinator, ensuring alignment and progression across both HR and facilities responsibilities
  • Ensure our office environment contributes positively to team wellbeing, productivity, and culture, adapting space and services as the business grows
  • Partner with finance and operations teams to forecast and manage office and workplace budgets, contracts, and future office planning
  • Act as point of contact for facilities issues, maintenance needs, and broader workplace initiatives across UK and US locations.

Key Attributes

  • Proven Senior HR generalist experience across UK and US (or familiarity with both markets), ideally at least 5+ years experience in a HR Business Partner role.
  • Track record of building and refining HR infrastructure in a fast-growth, scaling environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to build trust across levels and functions
  • Familiarity with modern HR software and systems (e.g. HiBob, ThanksBen, Workday, BambooHR, Personio, CharlieHR etc)
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR compliance in the UK
  • A hands-on, collaborative mindset – happy to roll sleeves up and get things done
  • Experience in media, tech or fast-moving creative businesses
