Head of People & Culture EMEA
About the Job
At Camfil, we are looking for a strategic and people-focused Head of People & Culture EMEA to support our VP People & Culture EMEA in leading and shaping the P&C agenda across the region. This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for driving and embedding a forward-looking people strategy that supports Camfil’s growth ambitions.
You will partner closely with regional and country leaders as well as P&C teams across EMEA, to strengthen organisational capability, develop talent and foster a high-performance, values-driven culture. With oversight of multiple countries (including dotted-line management of smaller markets), you will ensure consistency, compliance and excellence in people practices across the region.
This role can be remote in the UK or hybrid and based at our UK site in Haslingden, Lancashire.
Key accountabilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Execute P&C strategies for the EMEA region, aligned with global business objectives and regional priorities
- Act as a strategic advisor and business partner to senior leaders, shaping workforce planning, talent and succession and organisational design
- Contribute to the broader EMEA strategy
Talent Management & Development
- Work with our regional Talent Acquisition team ensuring strong hiring pipelines across your markets
- Lead talent development, performance management, and succession planning initiatives, driving standardisation and harmonisation across your countries
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and leadership development across your markets
HR Operations
- Oversee operational HR projects across EMEA to drive standardisation and harmonisation in the region, driving efficiency and removing complexity.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Shape and embed company values, ensuring culture supports high performance and innovation
- Lead employee engagement initiatives to maintain a motivated and committed workforce
- Act as a trusted advisor to leaders on people-related issues, providing challenge and coaching
- Provide support on the management of employee conflicts and disciplinary procedures
Total Rewards
- Work with our regional Total Rewards team to ensure competitive, equitable compensation and benefits for employees across your markets
- Ensure compliance with regional labour laws
Data, Insights & HR Governance
- Use HR data to identify trends, track performance, and support decision making
- Develop and implement regional policies and procedures that uphold legal, ethical, and organisational standards
Change Management & Communication
Working with the VP People & Culture EMEA, lead organisational change initiatives across the region, ensuring smooth, well communicated transitions, putting change management plans and actions into place.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of senior HR experience covering multiple HR disciplines, ideally in multinational or high-growth environments
- Prior experience leading HR teams and navigating matrixed global organisations
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, or related field
- CIPD Level 7 qualified (or equivalent experience)
- Fluent in English
- Fluency in additional European languages
- Proficient with a range of Microsoft applications
