  • Salary: Competitive part-time package based on 25 hours per week, spread over a 4 or 5 day week (FTE £80,000-£90,000)

Serving sectors including utilities, financial services, telecoms, and retail, this organisation is dedicated to enhancing its clients’ customer experiences, billing, collections, and retention through data-driven solutions.

In a period of rapid growth and post-acquisition integration, this forward-thinking consultancy is seeking an experienced Head of HR to steer its people strategy. Reporting directly to the COO, this role is structured for a strategic leader looking for impactful part-time work with flexible scheduling options. The Head of HR will focus on shaping organisational design, embedding an innovative culture, and evolving HR practices to support future growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • HR Strategy & Leadership: Shape and implement an HR strategy that aligns with business growth and organisational goals, leading on initiatives in workforce planning, employee engagement, and leadership development.
  • Policy & Compliance: Ensure that HR policies are robust, fully compliant with UK employment legislation, and aligned with standards such as ISO 27001, embedding best practices across the organisation.
  • Talent Acquisition & Retention: Drive recruitment strategies that support the organisation’s unique needs and future expansion, collaborating with senior leadership on strategic resource planning.
  • Cultural Integration: Facilitate smooth cultural integration for recently acquired teams and prepare frameworks for future acquisitions, fostering cohesion across diverse teams.
  • Employee Wellbeing: Lead the health and wellbeing agenda, optimising existing programs and championing new initiatives to support a thriving and diverse workforce.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a strategic, people-focused HR leader experienced in high-growth, data-driven, or consultancy environments. Core competencies include:

  • Strategic Vision & Influence: Proven track record in crafting and implementing comprehensive HR frameworks that align with both growth and compliance objectives.
  • Leadership & Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire, influence, and build trusted relationships across senior leadership and employee groups.
  • Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and is adept at navigating complex organisational landscapes with agility.
  • Cultural Alignment: Brings a fresh, non-traditional HR approach focused on employee autonomy, collaborative problem-solving, and strategic empowerment.
  • Team Player: Thrives in a small HR team and enjoys having a hands on approach
